Like many Scottish people, I was a skeptic, but Outlander won my heart and taught me SO MUCH about my own home country.

It's a shame that many Scottish people are Outlander skeptics. I was too - but then I watched it, and I was HOOKED from the very first moment.

But even more extraordinary was the passion and historical stories behind the show. I just had to discover more.

So thanks to Outlander, I got to learn a lot about the Jacobites and other parts of Scottish history that I had no idea about before.
